New Toys

The last week had been rather busy. I found out that my Aunt Violet, who is visiting from Hawaii, would be visiting me over the weekend. This was late Tuesday evening. My apartment was a mess and I knew she would criticize a lot of things so I decided to do a major clean up. I spent most of my free time on Wednesday and Thursday cleaning and they arrived on Friday.

During that time I have gotten a few new toys. On Wednesday, in the morning, I picked up some more computer RAM for my computer. I upgraded from 512 MB to 2.25 GB! I am not really noticing any performance increase, which I was a little surprised. I had thought that it would have helped out WoW a bunch, but so far I am not really seeing anything.

I also started to work on some updates to my website. I am moving over from using Blogger for my Blog to my own creation. I have found that some of the new features that have been added to Blogger has been nice, but there are still some limitations on ways that I can display stuff and the only real solution is to write my own. There is still a bunch of work to do, and I have a lot of distractions now so I am not sure when it all will be completed.

My first post is about my latest toy that I received last night; a Nintendo Wii. Ryan ended up finding one for me, which was nice since I was waiting until I knew that I could just walk into a store and pick one up, but it didn't seem like that would happen anytime soon. So... I'm going to wrap this up and play some bowling. Hehe.
