Hawaii 2008 - Day 1

My mom arrived at my appartment the evening before so we could travel together to Seatac and fly out to Honolulu, HI. Our flight did not leave until 5:20 pm (done on purpose so I could sleep in a bit and not have to wake up before 4:00 am).

We landed in Hawaii at about 8:30 pm local time (11:30 back in Washington). We got our rental car and headed to the hotel. After we got settled into our rooms, we tried to find a place to eat some dinner. I was a little worried that we would not find anything since it was close 11:00 pm when we started looking. We ended up going to a local place, L&L Hawaiian Barbecue. I finally got to bed after midnight, what a long day!
